Regarding a Third Tryout Day
Potential for a third tryout day at the coach and technical director’s discretion. It is recommended that all players attend this tryout, however, if you have attended two tryouts it is not necessary to attend a third. Obviously the more often you are in front of the evaluators the more complete the evaluation so it is recommended that if your age group has an additional day that you should attend.

Team Formations
The team formations will be posted on our website within two weeks of tryouts. We will send out a message via email informing you of the evening it will be posted. This is a tough time for players when the decision doesn’t go in their favor. Please keep in mind; this is also hard for the Coaches making the selections.

“More Play, Less Windshield Time”. Spring Academy will focus on development while spending less time and money on the road. There are no cuts at this level but there may be recommendations if we feel MicroStrikers may be a safer and developmentally better environment for your child. Your fees also include MicroStriker membership for the Spring and we encourage everyone to keep playing Sunday Micro.

U-13 – U-19
Teams formations are based on the current skill level of the individual player. The teams are divided into AA and A teams. This process of finalizing tiered teams is never easy. While we gain a good deal of information in the try outs, the difference between many who make the top team and those who do not is very slight. Because team formation at the older ages is based upon a player’s current level, the continued development and retention of all our players is vital to Striker’s success. We are committed to working with all players to build the necessary skill and attitude to compete at the highest levels, and every player needs to understand that the team formation is a yearly event. All players who make the AA team should remember that they must continue to work hard and improve, as their position is not guaranteed. Similarly, players who do not make the top team must understand that if they work hard and develop, they have every opportunity to earn a spot on next year’s Premier team.
